The health of a country’s people determines its prosperity. India’s most pressing problem today is to improve its performance on health metrics. Accessible, cheap, and effective health services must be guaranteed to all sectors of India’s population.
PH&RD was founded in response to a desire to raise public health awareness about issues that affect people’s overall well-being such as Growth and Health, Mental Health, Gender Equality, Communicable Disease and many others.
Following this desire, the flagship program for PH&RD, The Public Health Stewardship Programme was launched in 2019.
