Medical Students For Choice (MSFC)
Introduction:
We are a group of medical students advocating for the pro-choice movement and addressing often-overlooked reproductive health issues through awareness campaigns and events. Our goal is to foster an environment where future physicians can grow into compassionate and skilled providers of comprehensive reproductive healthcare. MSFC serves as the driving force behind any student eager to make a meaningful impact in this field.
Mission:
MSFC (Medical Students for Choice) advocates for reproductive rights, focusing on the right to choice and autonomy. As the India chapter of MSFC, our mission is to empower medical students with the knowledge and skills to address abortion, infertility, and other reproductive health issues compassionately and competently, while training future abortion care providers.
Vision:
To build a medical community where every patient’s autonomy is respected, and future doctors are equipped to address diverse reproductive health challenges with expertise and empathy.
Activities conducted by MSFC
- Advocating for pro-choice policies and reproductive rights.
- Organizing campaigns on infertility, breast cancer, and cervical cancer awareness.
- Training medical students in sensitive reproductive health care.
- Preparing the next generation of abortion care providers
