•Providing mentorship programs for students exploring research or education-focused careers
•Facilitating partnerships with academic and healthcare institutions
•Organizing research-based workshops, symposiums, conferences and events
•Promoting evidence-based practices through training and resource
Contributions to AMSA India:
MERSA (Medical Education and Research Students’ Association) is a subsidiary of AMSA, meaning it functions as a local or institutional branch under the broader AMSA umbrella. As a chapter, MERSA contributes to AMSA in several ways:
•Expanding AMSA’s Reach – By organizing events, initiatives, and advocacy efforts at the local level, MERSA helps AMSA engage with more medical students.
